Le Clos Sells Only Available Chapoutier Collection in the World

December 2015, Dubai, UAE: The recently unveiled, prestigious Chapoutier Ermitage Mathusalem 2010 Collection has been sold through a silent auction for more than $33,000 to a Dubai-based collector and businessman. The collection, the only one of its kind available in the world, was available exclusively at Le Clos, the fine wine and luxury spirits retailer located at the crossroads of the world at Dubai International Airport.

Le Clos unveiled the collection at an exclusive tasting with Michel Chapoutier in Dubai, UAE, providing fine wine connoisseurs with the first glimpse of the set. Consisting of six mathusalems (6 litre bottles) of the 2010 vintage, historically one of the best vintage ever in the Rhone Valley, and nestled in a unique coffret, the extraordinary Sélection Parcellaire (Single Vineyard wine) from Ermitage included Le Pavillon red, De L’Orée white, Le Méal red and white, as well as L’Ermite red and white.
